Hotel Puerta América
The Hotel Puerta América in Madrid, opened in 2005 at Avenida de América 41, is a unique case in international hospitality: each floor was entrusted to a different architect or designer, including Zaha Hadid, Norman Foster, David Chipperfield, Arata Isozaki, Ron Arad, Marc Newson and Jean Nouvel, who also designed the exterior.
Between 2005 and 2006 RIVA executed the interior finishes of the guest rooms and common areas, interpreting the drawings of the various designers with its own craftsmen and translating the materials, surfaces and details of each floor on site.
A project that marked the company’s opening to major contemporary works abroad.
