Palazzo Casati Magni

Casa Casati Magni, at via Dante 16, was built in 1891 to a design by the architect Antonio Tagliaferri with the engineers Giovanni Battista Casati and Giulio Magni, within the plan that opened the new via Dante between Cordusio and the Castello. The style is eclectic neo-Renaissance: on the stone ground floor the portal is topped by the allegories of Medicine and Industry, the piano nobile has windows with triangular pediments.

Between 2021 and 2022 RIVA worked on the façades of the palazzo, with cleaning, consolidation of the stone elements and recovery of the decorations.

The intervention belongs to the long season of recovery of the historic buildings of via Dante.
