Palazzo Luraschi
Palazzo Luraschi, at corso Buenos Aires 1, was designed and built by Ferdinando Luraschi in 1887 in an eclectic style. The courtyard has a portico with columns salvaged from the Lazzaretto of Milan and is decorated with medallions and busts of the characters of Manzoni’s Promessi Sposi; the façade has a Serlian portal with telamons supporting the balcony of the piano nobile.
Between 2015 and 2016 RIVA carried out a major conservative restoration of the external façades and of the inner courtyard: cleaning of the surfaces, consolidation of the stone and terracotta elements, recovery of the large brackets and of the decorations.
The corso Buenos Aires 1 site obtained the «Cantiere a Impatto Sostenibile – Livello Argento» certification, within the code of conduct the company has adopted.
