Usuelli Celestino 1
The building at largo Celestino Usuelli 1 in Milan is known as «the little Torre Velasca»: a Brutalist work clad in klinker, which echoes at reduced scale the silhouette of the BBPR tower.
Between 2019 and 2020 RIVA carried out the conservative restoration of the façades, recovering the original architectural language: cleaning of the klinker cladding, consolidation of the exposed concrete elements and restoration of the joints and details.
An example of the company’s work on modern heritage, carried out according to the criteria of conservative restoration.
