Villa Frascoli
Villa Frascoli stands on the upper edge of Laveno-Mombello, overlooking the gulf and Lake Maggiore. It was built in the late 1910s for Giuseppe Frascoli, son of Enrico, mayor of Laveno in 1913–1914; the refined garden staircase and the 1930s entrance pavilion are attributed to Piero Portaluppi, as documented in the volume by Roberto Dulio published by Electa in 2021.
After years of substantial neglect, between 2019 and 2022 RIVA carried out the complete restoration of the villa: façades, decorative elements and structure, replacing the components beyond recovery and installing new systems, renewing the building while respecting its original character.
A site on the lake where the company started in 1920, told in the video «Riva e il restauro di Villa Frascoli».
